our process

Our Countertop Process

Every countertop project starts with understanding your space, design vision, and functional needs. We work with trusted fabricators to ensure your surfaces integrate seamlessly with our cabinetry and deliver both beauty and durability. From the first coordination meeting to the final installation, our process is clear, collaborative, and built around your project timeline.
1. Design & Material Coordination
Countertops are typically selected during the final stages of your cabinetry design. We’ll help you coordinate with our fabricators to choose the right material, edge profile, and finish to complement your project. Stone tops can also be purchased as a standalone product.
2. On-Site Templating
Laminate and most wood countertops are installed with your cabinetry. For stone, our fabricator will template your space once cabinetry installation is substantially complete, ensuring precise measurements and cutouts for sinks, faucets, and any integrated features.
3. Fabrication & Installation
Stone fabrication generally takes 2–3 weeks after templating. We coordinate directly with the fabricator to ensure timelines are met, details are correct, and installation is seamless. Every surface is expertly fitted for a perfect finish that performs for years to come.

Countertop FAQs

1. Can I purchase a countertop without ordering cabinetry?
Yes. While most countertops are supplied alongside our cabinetry projects, we can also coordinate standalone stone countertop orders.
2. How long does it take from templating to installation for stone countertops?
Stone countertop installation typically occurs 2–3 weeks after templating. This timeframe may vary depending on material availability.
3. Do you provide sinks and faucets?
We sell a variety of sinks and faucets from Pearl Canada. Sinks and faucets need to be on site at time of cabinetry installation. If you are choosing a stone countertop, the templater will document the exact openings for fabrication and ensure a proper fit.
4. What is the most popular type of countertop?
Quartz is our most requested countertop material. It’s non-porous, so it resists stains, doesn’t require sealing, and is easy to keep clean. Highly durable and available in a wide range of colours and patterns, quartz combines style and practicality—making it a perfect choice for busy kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces.
5. Can I use my own countertop supplier?
Yes, but we recommend using our trusted suppliers for better coordination, consistent quality, and the advantage of our preferred pricing and warranty coverage.
